Members,
We are not holding our regular meeting this month. Instead, our September meeting is Wednesday, September 30 at the Four Points by Sheraton, 600 Kanawha Boulevard East, Charleston, where the West Virginia Landlord Association is putting on two back-to-back events built for landlords. Admission is free for WVLA members.
4:00 to 6:00 PM, Contractors' Marketplace A two-hour trade floor where the people who own the buildings meet the people who fix them. At least 50 contractors are expected: electricians, plumbers, HVAC, roofers, painters, flooring, and general contractors, plus building suppliers with booths and demonstrations. The hosts make introductions on purpose, so you leave with names and numbers you can actually call. If you have had trouble finding reliable trades for your units, this is the room to be in.
6:00 to 8:00 PM, Proximity Executive networking with lenders, realtors, attorneys, CPAs, and business owners, with hosted introductions and a spotlight conversation on Charleston's business landscape.
Attendees receive a contact list after the event.
After party at Recovery at 8:00 PM.
